neesek
I remember that several people were talking about it in the fall. I was just wondering if anyone had actually joined, and if so, how the United Streaming subscription has worked out. My subscription is up at the beginning of May, so this would be a good way to renew. Thanks!
3Rivers
I just joined. So I can let you know as soon as that goes through. Jamie
Chris in VA
I joined, but then didn't homeschool my dd, who would have used it more. My son (just finished homeschooling high s) used it a little bit. Not sure if it was worth the $, but I may go ahead and renew, and use it to supplement dd's ps work. I did print out the entire contents! It's still sitting on my computer table after nearly a YEAR--Geesh, I need to file some papers 'round here! neesek
Thank you. We have really enjoyed having it this year, and I definitely want to get it again. Last year I got it through the homeschool buyer's co-op, but if I can get it cheaper, that would be great! So do they give you a unique username and password, or do you have to go through SWHEA each time you want to watch a video? I am just basically wondering if it will be any different going through a group rather than buying it individually. Thanks!
amyco
I've heard of United Streaming, but what is SWHEA? Can you get US cheaper somehow? Thanks!

Here is the thread from last fall that gives the information. http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51879&highlight=streaming+

If you have time to answer some (possible stupid) questions: you printed out the entire contents of what? not of United Streaming, but what? Did you have a clear idea of whether you had full access to UnitedStrmng or limited? Did you get a unique login and password or did you use one that seemed to be the entire SWHEA group? This would be important for personal organization of the folders and such. Thanks!

This would be important for personal organization of the folders and such I printed out pages and pages of what is available via US. I don't know if it was full access or not. Yep, unique password and all that. Such a deal!
chiguirre
I got Discovery Streaming (the new name for US) through SWHEA and it's worked great. I can sign in directly on the DS site and watch whatever we want. It's a great deal!

neesek
Thank you both for responding. I think I am definitely going to go through them when it is time to renew. Jill, you can see a list of available titles here.
