Brigitte
Here is a link to my school room and my office. The first few pictures are of the area "before" the major reorganization and clean up. The second half are of the final result. I had to put all our class work into new binders as the previous ones would not stand up or stay on the shelves (you get what you pay for). My office area got destroyed when I had to take out a table that I use for a desk to use for an Usborne booth. I had planned to get it all put back together during our Christmas break, but really needed the time to do nothing. Once school and work got started again, I was able to focus and get it all put back together. Enjoy!
vettechmomof2
Wow, so much space. It feels so roomy. Nice job.
DB in NJ
Very nice! btw, we have the same border in our school room! And the paint looks the same color as mine too (gobi desert by Behr). Good job, Brigitte!
Mom2legomaniacs
Very cool! I have pics of our space now, but still in the new camera. I haven't figured out how to put them on the computer yet. But I will post when I do.
Heidi @ Mt Hope
I completely relate to the before pictures. :) Lovely learning space! You did a great job putting everything together.
E_Edgerton
It looks great. I love the series...were the cats helping in the re-organization!? hehe:D
Sugarfoot
Lovely! I've been working in ours most of the day. I'm trying to do it in small chunks, since I don't want to give the little's too much to get into.;) I'd love to just pull everything off/out, etc. and re-vamp everything, but my reality just doesn't allow it at the moment! You've done a remarkable job! I love it!

elegantlion
That is lovely. I can imagine spending lots of time in there, very cozy.
Brigitte
It looks great. I love the series...were the cats helping in the re-organization!? hehe:D The cats attend school every day. Emmy is always in the window and Horace would never miss and FLL lesson. Seriously, he sits on the book every time I open it. He doesn't do that to any other book. Good job, Brigitte! I can't take credit for the paint or border. It was that way when we bought the house. It does make for a nice school room, but the border makes the ceiling feel really low, since it is a basement.
Brigitte
No. WAY! Uhhh, I was just THERE. :jaw dropping: So when are you coming to my house to give me organizing tips? Because... wow. You rock. It really was a work in progress when you were here and not really as bad it seemed and took very little time. Having the cats scatter all the papers (school and Usborne) did not help. Now to tackle the rest of the house.
Brigitte
That is lovely. I can imagine spending lots of time in there, very cozy. The gas fireplace makes it really cozy. I am down here all the time.

Mom2boys
I love your wallpaper border, and your nice big windows! Our basement school room is dark and has paneling on the walls. We don't actually use it for school because we can't stand to be down there.
Brigitte
The basement is what hooked us. It has great light and space. Only half of it is finished, so there is still lots of storage and a place for the litter box. We got really lucky with this place.
