laughing lioness
He has waken up twice this week saying that his side hurts (by side, it's more up by his chest/lungs). I thought the first time it was because he was sleeping on a beanie babies ;) but he woke up last night too. It's been awfully cold here and my dh thinks it's just from the cold. He's also been more tearful than usual, so I wonder if it might be something more serious. Should I take him to the doc?
Mad Jenny Flint
If it does, I'd call for an appt.
Lolly
I think I would try sleeping with him if possible. Either in his bed (if it's big enough!) or mine. That way, you can make sure the environment is okay for him. A little extra body heat wouldn't hurt either.
ChristusG
I would take him in. If it had happened once, I would have waited. But twice I would take him in.
Cornerstone Classical
Do you think he has done any activity that has caused him to pull a muscle? When I was 16 I had these on again off again pains in that area, I went to the dr. and come to find out I had pulled a muscle. I was precribed a muscle relaxer. Thinking back, I realized I had pulled it as I was helping my mom take down our Christmas tree. I had reached up high to get an ornament. Does he have any other symptoms? If he does or starts to show signs of anything else (fever, fatigue, increased pain ) I would get him an appt. ASAP. HTH:001_smile:
