Lively Latin - printing question

I'm printing them out on one side of the paper so that they can easily be seperated when we file them after we are done with our work.

Basically, I print them out in the order that we are supposed to do the lessons. We do them in that order and then file them in the binder behind the various tabs (vocab, lessons, history, etc.)

I'm a bit on the end of the Bell Curve with reduce/reuse/recycle so I'm nearly fanatical about using both sides of ANY sheet of paper:001_smile:! So, I use the front/back printing option and just keep all of it in a notebook for my dc (of course, answers are in my notebook). You could even skip printing out the answers and just look them up on the computer everytime you need to check them. I considered this, and know several people who do this, but I really need to have them accessible as we go through the lessons (because I'm learning as well!) and our computer is on another floor from the school room.

I tried printing on both sides of the paper but it was too time consuming for me to figure out which pages I could do this with and still put everything in the appropriate section. (Lessons, Vocab, etc) It's also time consuming with my printer. I just want to click 'print' and come back to grab the lesson. (I print one Lesson at a time) I never print out the answers. I do Lively Latin along with the kids, so if I'm not sure, I just check the answer on the computer.

For those of you who use Lively Latin (either download or cd), do you print out the lessons on one side of the page or on both sides?

I'm just starting it with ds10, and am trying to figure it all out.

Thanks.

If you double side them you can't use the filing system because the back will need to go under a different tab than the frong. :D (Guess which way I did it, LOL!)

Single side allows you to use her filing system, but if you prefer to save paper it really isn't a big deal to just keep things in number order. If you need to refer back it just takes longer to find it.

We do one side as it prints "cleaner" on our printer, meaning that the front side doesn't show to the back side, etc.

If that isn't a problem for you, it should be no problem to print on both sides. If you want to use her filing system, you'll just have to make the appropriate breaks in order to not put one section on the front and then print a page that goes in another section on the back. It would be the easiest to do this with the history text, b/c it is quite easy to figure out what's history and what isn't. The other sections will take more thought, but you'll get the headers down before long!:)
