4kidsandcounting
I am bringing a meal to some friends tonight and just found out they had the same meal (Manicotti) last night that I was going to bring tonight. OOPS. Anyway, I have a big pack of drumsticks and was wondering if you have any good and easy meals with some chicken legs:) Thanks!
Guest
I don't like drumsticks, but I know my dh likes them sprinkled with garlic salt and pepper and then thrown on the bbq...not sure if your weather would permit that? Then add some veggies and rice or something. ETA - That sounded kind of rude. If someone brought me drumsticks, I would eat them! I just don't usually pick them on my own. JudoMom
These are tasty. Throw in a salad, side, and dessert and you'll be set :001_smile:.
Jane
If they have a number of young children, a simple dinner w/drumsticks may be more appreciated than you think because most often even picky eaters enjoy drumsticks. In a pinch, I once served drumsticks to guests because it was all I had. I served them with popovers, homemade potato soup, and a big salad. They raved. I was astounded and it taught me quite a bit about keeping things simple sometimes. Here are a couple other simple side dishes that could go with the chicken: asparagus, baked potatoes and fixings, apple sauce or baked apples, cornbread (or any bread--even consider your local bakery), green beans. HTH!
