mompotter
If there is, when? For the first time I feel like we are finally making progress. My ds likes the FLL4 and so do I. He is in 5th so I jumped back to cover this material but it is all good. I am combining it with WWE and we are seeing results. I had to back up to level 2 for WWE. So please tell me there is a plan for FLL5 and it will happen soon! If not, can someone recommend something for next year? Please!

Mallory
I am pretty sure she isn't even planning any more grammar texts. But I can't seem to find where I saw that. I also don't have any ideas for another grammar program, we have started KISS Grammar, but my oldest is only in 3rd.
Annie Laurie
I also read that about FLL4 being the last one. Rod and Staff English is great, and similar imo- it is logical, clear explanations, sequential, one skill builds off a previous one, and lots of review. Growing with Grammar seems to be a popular grammar choice around here. It currently goes up to grade 6, with grade 7 expected to be out this spring, and I assume they plan to keep developing new levels but can't say for sure. Another popular choice is CLE. Lori in MS
Rod and Staff English 5, Growing with Grammar, and Analytical Grammar are all good choices. I am using Analytical Grammar.
mompotter
Thank you all for those ideas. Off to check some of them out. So hard to think about switching when I just found something we both like after four years of trying.
Homeschooling6
My 5th grade son is also doing well with FLL4 and I plan to use either Christian Light Education or Climbing to Good English. Both seem to be a good solid grammar progam at a good price :D We tried R&S but it just didn't work for my son. Too much copying and it was taking forever. Donna T.
Fortunately, my oldest is still using FLL 3, so we have 4 to look forward to. I LOVE FLL. We haven't even started 4 yet and I'm already bummed that there won't be more. If I had to use something else next year, I'd probably go with Growing With Grammar. We used it for awhile in the past. It's easy to follow and straight-forward, just like FLL.
Guest
In the back of OPGTR, it says she is planning Language Lessons FTWTM to follow FLL series. I certainly would buy it for my 3 youngers to use along with WWE book 2 Jessie, would you comment?
Lovedtodeath
I am thinking about something from Queen's Language Lessons for 5th. Language Lessons for the Elementary Child, Volume 2 (ages 8-12) or Language Lessons for the Secondary Child (ages 10-15)
Deb in NZ
Lively Latin. I find that there's plenty of grammar in LL. Ds#2 used FLL1-3. I debated about using FLL4, but when I saw how much grammar is included in LL, I decided a separate grammar book would be overkill. I do have GWG 4, ILL, PLL, & Hake's Grammar & Writing 6 & 8 on the shelves if I see that he needs more work in grammar. JMHO,
