Kim in SouthGa
I know they have a lot of discussion in them, but if time is an issue, could they just read and do the workbook? Thanks,
Cindyg
Of course you can, but your child is going to miss a lot. And I do mean -- a lot. Most of the course. But, still, you might feel it's better than nothing. (We certainly don't do everything in the TM all the time either!)
angela in ohio
If you can't afford to do the whole program, you would be better off getting a few literature guides (Porgeny Press, etc.) and the books that go with them instead. BJU Reading is really designed to be used with the TM, and I can't imagine getting half of what we get out of it without them.
TracyR
I agree with the other ladies. Your not going to get much of anything out of the program if you do it that way. All of the questions to the stories are in the manual , not in the workbooks. The workbooks are more activity related to the story. I would say if you were going to use the text for extra reading , but not if your wanting a program for the rest of the year. If time is of the essence, how about Christian Light's reading? They have the reading book and Light Units and she can work on it at her own pace. Just throwing that out there for you since you want a book and workbook.
