cathmom
I'm not sure why. I mean, I know the cost of all ingredients has gone up, but pizza has really jumped. My poor dh loves pizza (and yes I do make homemade, but he likes frozen/restaurant pizza better!).
H.S. Burrow
I calculated the cost awhile back and it's cheaper *per serving* for us to order pizza from Pizza Hut. The reason? Frozen pizzas ($20) don't go too far here. The family feast from Pizza Hut ($27) will provide 2 meals for us.
Pretty in Pink
I agree, they are kind of pricey. Walmart has fresh ones in the case near the deli that are very reasonable priced and yummy. They are restaurant-style and *huge*. Otherwise I buy frozen pizzas when they are B1G1 at Publix or Winn Dixie.
joannqn
I go to Costco and buy their cooked pizzas for $9.95. I'd buy their frozen except that they are bigger than my oven so I have no way to cook them.
farmgirlinwv
I agree w/ the WM/Sams pizzas! They are great! Walgreens will have Red BArron 2/5 periodically. Otherwise, make it yourself. He won't starve. :D We're really quite spoiled when you think about it.

Anyone try the pizzas from Kroger? They look like the ones at Walmart. Are they good too?
mktkcb
We get a 3pk of Digiorno Pepperoni, med size pizzas at Costco for 11.50. I always feel like it's a pretty good deal. Thats about $4.00 each...not too bad. Of course, I love the fresh made Costco pizza's for 9.99. Those are a great deal also. Kayleen

I like to run out there on a Friday night and do my shopping, pick up a pizza, and take it home to eat. Usually we call the snack bar to order our pizza when we reach a certain point in our shopping. We like to heat ours up a bit when we get home; it gets a little crunchier that way. Our Costco snack bar bakes them a little on the under-done side...at least for our tastes.
