Biblical science references? . . .

DD will be using a secular science program this year since we decided to enroll in a charter. I had originally planned on starting Apologia (she's in sixth grade). I'd like to balance her science studies with resources from a biblical perspective. I've considered using Apologia as a reference along with the securlar program. Are there any other suggestions for being able to provide a Christian perspective, particularly for biology?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

They focus on the history of science and include some scientific content, but not enough to constitute self-contained programs.

I put Tiner's "Exploring the World of Chemistry" together with RS4K Level I chemistry, and thought that they complemented each other beautifully.

Tiner's books are Christian-friendly but well-documentedly historical. So, for instance, he talks about how a certain chemist viewed his research as discovering God's creation and mind, as documented by his personal writings. Good stuff for any kid to know, but especially for Christian kids who tend to think that science and Christianity do nothing but battle.

I will agree with the suggestion of Answers in Genesis. Their website is great and I want to get their God's Design for Science series to begin with my kids next year. :D
