Howdie, happy Sunday!

Yesterday my kids graduated from high school!  Yay!  I got up and started cleaning house at 6:something, dropped the kids off around 9:40, picked up the cake, some balloons, and some graduation cards, drove home, drove back for the grad ceremony, met my dad and sister there, did photos and cake, putzed a little, picked up the kids' friend, went out to dinner, back home with the friend, took the dog for a long walk, and crashed!  A good day!

Today, I should really be catching up on work.  I slept in some, cleaned some, played with the dog, and I've been catching up on this forum.  Priorities!  The girls have left to do a work gig, and I am going to fold and put away their laundry, and then probably get serious about client work.

Maybe after I get back into my client work stuff, I'll think of a priority list for that.  But right now, I'm still feeling kinda fuzzy.  Could be because I had cake for brunch!

Ran a load of kitchen linens.

Still need to prep for one student. I will not be sad to have a month break from tutoring before I jump into the deep end teaching school.

Pumpkin bread is yummy! Need to make zucchini bread this coming week.

Dinner was good.
Made a smoothie for breakfast for Ds. His ride to camp is coming early, so a quick b’fast is good.
Left one loaf of pumpkin bread out. Put the other in the freezer.

Laundry is put away.
Got out clothes for tomorrow.

Gonna read and go to bed early. This week will be super busy!

Popping in late - have to report some tackling we did, so it counts 😉

Helped DH clear out the garage - there is space now for one car to fit. There is more we can get rid of, but he is not ready yet. I did talk him into getting rid of a fair amount though all out by the curb now to post in our neighborhood page as "free on curb" - hopefully will all get taken (some bikes, beach stuff, kitchen glasses and such)

Friend's dd is here - well, sleeping here. She's been out all day. Hopefully makes it back in before we head to bed; I should have given her a key to use.

Oldest went back to camp last night, with antibiotics for a UTI. :sigh: Why do they have to be sick far from home? Texting him shortly to see how he's doing today.

Watched the 1st two episodes of Acolyte; mildly curious about the story, but that's it. We'll watch just to have something to watch together.

DH & DS finished mowing, so now DH & I are going to veg out and such until bedtime. I did start the quilting on DS's quilt yesterday, did not touch it today.

My kid cleaned out my car!  She was looking for her lost bank debit card.  She didn't find it, but my car is cleaner!  (It's 99% her mess anyway!)

Took the pup for a nice long walk, then had a shower.  According to someone here, shame on me for pulling rank when my kid and I both wanted a shower at the same time.  I was definitely sweatier than her, after walking her dog up and down hills.  😛  Besides, I take 15 minutes to shower (including a hair wash), while she takes at least an hour.  So phooey.  😛  Imagine being 58yo and having to stand in line to use your own shower that you bought & paid for.  😛  Though it's probably my fault for usually timing my showers to be convenient for everyone else.  (Rant over.)

I washed and dried a load of clothes so Shower Girl will have clean work clothes for tomorrow morning.  Have loads 2 & 3 ready to go if Shower Girl ever gets done with the water.  😛
