Scarlet Hand Posted June 6 Posted June 6 I am considering using Memoria Press online academy for Classical Composition for this coming year. My daughter will be in 5th grade. Has anyone used those classes before? I have seen posts about the online academy in general but many of them are years old and it appears the academy has changed slightly after someone left. The class is pretty expensive so I want to get some information on how they are before signing up for anything. We haven't done much writing instruction yet, though she writes creatively and enjoys to write. Is the online academy worth it? Did it make writing better? Is it better than the DVD/Streaming option? Did anyone have a good experience with a certain teacher? Right now the teachers to pick from are Anne Parry (I have heard she worked at the brick and mortar school), Sandra Holcombe, Shannon Lacy, Anne Dillon, or Jennifer Breidenbach. It seems Anne Parry's class is the most full so maybe that means something. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks! Quote
