Terabith Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Let me preface this by saying I really, really wanted to like Supernatural. It seems like it's totally my type of show, but I gave up after watching five full seasons because I honestly kinda hated it. But my brain is thinking about those five seasons today and I am wondering.... How much salt did Sam and Dean go through? Was their entire car filled with salt? 1 2 Quote
CindyH in NC Posted May 31 Posted May 31 My daughter adored this show as a teenager. I enjoyed it with her, but it is not a show I watch on my own. I questioned if they were causing salt shortages, and why they didn't have scars on their hands. Those two were always cutting their palms for one reason or another. 1 Quote

MercyA Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I *really* liked the stand alone episodes. I didn't like all the conspiracy / end-of-the-world stuff. Good thing salt is so cheap. And where did they get the big bags of it? I can still picture them slicing into the bags with a knife and pouring it along the windowsills.... 🙂 Good times. 2 Quote
Terabith Posted June 1 Author Posted June 1 I kinda lost the plot when they defeated either God or the devil and I realized there were another ten seasons left. 3 Quote

Terabith Posted June 1 Author Posted June 1 I also was kinda constantly angry at Dean, because he was constantly doing things that I found both stupid and triggering. How many times does that man sell his soul? He always has good reasons, but it honestly brought up tons of religious trauma and also just irritated me. I want the characters in my tv shows to not be complete idiots, and he kinda failed. Good man, but dumb decisions. Quote
