73349
We use ours whenever we're cooking something suitable. It's the only way we make cornbread, for example. After hand-washing (using a nylon-bristle scrubber or stainless steel if needed), we dry it completely, rub a little olive oil back into it, and hang it back up.

I will add that we adore our cast iron skillets—they weigh a ton but they perform so beautifully.

Just wipe it down and put it right back on the stove. They are heavy, but I am making it my personal challenge to do everything in my power to never become too frail to lift a cast iron skillet. Something else may take me out, but I'm going to still be lifting heavy stuff when I go! Edited May 31 by popmom
KatieJ
I rehomed mine several decades ago. I was never in love with them and they were just too heavy. My wrists can’t handle the weight. ( My dishes are Corelle for the same reason)
