Tackling Tuesday Together May 28

Good morning! 

got up early, so have already done dishes and such. The rest of the day is flexible, but a few things on the list. 

To do:

....coffee (mostly done)
....clean out/organize the pantry
....maybe also clean out/organize the freezer  Nope; saving that for DH/another day. 
....some fun quilting/sewing stuff - got some ideas last night, so would like to sketch at least and maybe do some sewing
....dinner is.....??? Probably me, since DH will be tomorrow, so need to figure something out  DH is cooking shrimp
....some electronic chores - DH fixed my excel file, so enter the stuff for this school year
....tonight is fencing, so cook dinner, eat, go to fencing
....come home, maybe watch TV/veg out before bed

The pantry and freezer will both take a while, so not a lot of items, but a busy day.

Good morning!! It's supposed to start raining at any time, so I'll be working inside this morning. Plans include:

cook-done

read-done

Bible/prayer

finish kitchen drawers-done

laundry-done

make up guest bed-done

start on bedroom drawers-done

Good morning!

Already done:

• coffee & breakfast
• yoga
• took ds to school/signed permission slip for next week
• 5 mile walk
• started the dishwasher
• Half an episode of "H" for French practice

To do:

• violin
• fold yesterday's loads of laundry
• vacuum/mop the downstairs
• dinner
• take ds to scouts

I took Ds to football and volunteered with the check-in.

Drop my son’s phone at the repair place. ✔️

Dinner is Greek salad and tabbouleh, I think? Or maybe something fast from TJ’s and the Greek will be tomorrow?

Got the pantry done -- got rid of a few things, rearranged some things, swept it, and got everything all put back together. 

Folded laundry from yesterday. 

Did the electronic chores, then remembered I have some more receipts in my purse, so need to add those to the file later on. 

DH is picking up shrimp for dinner, on his way home from a meeting. 

DH says the freezer is fine, so leaving that for another day. Yay! (I will let that be his headache)

Was able to sketch an idea for the next quilt - I feel *really* excited about it. When it turns into anything, I'll let y'all know! 

Ate lunch, heading for a nap.

Good afternoon! 

Done:

• breakfast and meals packed for dh (last day of school and last day at the charter school)
• shower and got ready to go out
• started a load of laundry
• Zoom session with new student 
• post office
• met another board member/friend and went seeking donations from local businesses (We are putting together a gift basket to give away this weekend to a new member.)
• lunch out with friend
• made lunch for dh and chatted with him a few minutes

To Do:

• move laundry to dryer
• door delivery might be happening this afternoon
• pay bills/update big budget book
• watch some more Little House
• figure out dinner (ds and me only)
• might need to go to the store
• play a game? 
• watch something and relax

Got started on the new quilt project - I think it's going to be pretty cool. 

Had a disappointing text exchange with my mom, which confirmed for me that I made the right call cutting contact a few months ago. :sigh: Still disappointing.  Oh well. 

Taking a break for a snack, pick the peaches before the next round of storms comes through, and then....? One guy's not going to fencing from our group, so checking w/DH whether that means we will or won't also (also need to check when the next storms are hitting).

Got CSA food (Meat is delayed til next week.)

No time for TJ’s now, so will stop by there after I tutor. Dinner will be late.

REALLY hoping Ds does the three things I asked him to do. And that Dh holds the line on screen time til those things are done.

I finished the laundry. 

I worked on the bills and the big budget book. 

I ate leftovers, and ds ate some Asian dumplings we had in the freezer. 

I started watching a mystery limited series, School Spirits, and am drawn in. We really like the show Ghosts, which has a similar vibe.

Tutored
Quick trip to TJ’s.

Ended up making Greek salad for me and Dh, while Ds has a chx and cheese quesadilla, veggies in dip, and fresh strawberries.

Ds has not started his laundry, but I don’t care if he wears a stinky shirt to practice! He misunderstood the directions on the math page and will need to redo it tomorrow.

Prep for tomorrow’s tutoring.
