Script Frenzy? Anyone done this or plan to?

If you've done it, what was your experience? Can you do it without the forums? Or does it come away lacking? What did you write? (genre) What kind of time commitment was it for you?

I've NaNoed, but not Frenzied. The first year requirements were more stringent and I didn't bother. I may try it at some point.

 

It's a wild ride but it's worth the experience to write so much in one month.

I, too, have NaNoed, but not Frenzied.

 

I didn't hit the forums at NaNo, but I'm glad I was registered. The pep talk emails once or twice a week were great. I loved the social group we had here on WTM and some in real life folks who were terrific internet support and encouragement.

 

Do it! It is empowering to strive for a goal.

The first year the requirement included a completely new story, no adaptation of previous work. I have a great half-novel for a screenplay, but I couldn't use it.

 

I think they've changed the rules since then.

Yes, now you can do adaptations.
