Rhonda in TX
There's been a car with a flat tire in front of our house all day. About an hour ago, DH jacked up the car, took off the wheel, found the leak, and plugged it. Isn't he a nice guy? :001_smile: The owner just came to pick it up and DH happened to be outside. It turns out they are a relative of a neighbor a few houses down. This neighbor was very helpful to us during our two-week power outage from Hurricane Ike. That's makes what DH did even more satisfactory.

jensway
Thanks for sharing this kind story. Reminds me of a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. ~~It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself...Serve and thou shall be served.~~
