Scarlett Posted May 15 Posted May 15 2 weeks ago I was putting in an order to pick up. I needed dog food. I like this specific size (16 pounds) because it fits in the container I have for it. That size is about $30. They were out of that size. I checked next size up (30 pounds) and was shocked to see it on sale for $10. To be shipped free shipping. So I hit submit on that immediately. It said delivery would be in 2 days. After a week I started tracking it and saw it was stalled. I have made 2 calls and I kept getting told the third party seller is showing out of this product. But they will check and get back to me. I told them I did not buy from a third party I bought from Walmart and I expect this price to be honored. Just now I looked at their site and the prices are wacked. 4lbs for $18, 16lb on sale for $16…I am tempted to order the 16 lb one just to see what happens. I just can’t figure out what is going on. Arcadia Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Walmart has a lot of 3rd party sellers though, just like Amazon. Maybe check if your first order was ship from and sold by Walmart. 9 1 Quote

QumaCote Posted May 15 Posted May 15 It can still be a 3rd party seller even if you pay WM or Amazon directly. 10 1 Quote

Same story as your (just bigger bag and way bigger savings) I tried 5 or 6 different orders over a few weeks. They just get cancelled. DH was like I think you should just stop trying to get that deal. 1 1 Quote

Lady Florida. Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I ordered something from WM through a 3rd party seller. Tracking showed it as delivered but I never received the item (I was home all day that day). When I called Walmart just cancelled the order and gave me a refund. 1 Quote

It's probably a money floating thing OR trying to get to a certain number of transactions so they can sell in protected areas. IDK what Walmart's rules are, but Amazon doesn't let people sell items in some high-profit areas (toys, beauty) until they've been selling for a certain amount of time and have a minimum number of sales. Maybe the sales that are cancelled still count. I always filter Walmart for the seller to be Walmart. 3 Quote
