Chris in VA Posted May 13 Posted May 13 About 20 years ago, I attended a "kitchen table" bible study at a friend's house. Very conservative, Evangelical Christisn (perhaps Baptist?). It was a series of small booklets you could fill in. Everyone used The Good News Bible in the study. It has Stone in the title, like Stoneleigh or Stonebridge 1. Anyone else use this series? 2. I'm looking for a poem in one of them. It goes thru scripture and shows where Christ is. One line is, "he's the scarlet thread of Rahab" Shot in the dark. Quote
MercyA Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Chris, is this the poem? https://www.azchristianlyrics.com/don-moen/name-above-all-names-4/ Quote
MercyA Posted May 13 Posted May 13 There was something called Stoneleigh Bible Week in the UK in the 1990's and early 2000's. Evidently it involved a lot of worship music. Maybe they put out a study? https://www.nigelring.org/40-years-on-16-stoneleigh-why-did-people-go/ Quote
kbutton Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I’ve heard that in song form—He Is by Aaron Jeffrey. I don’t know about the booklets, but they sound familiar. Quote

I attended for about 3 years. I'm in a different spiritual place now, but those times around the kitchen table were precious, esp as it was during the beginning of our family's addiction journey. Thank you so much. They have updated the booklets, no doubt, but it's a starting point. Edited May 14 by Chris in VA 1 Quote
