Good morning!  Today is not quite as busy:

  • turn in notes
  • get child to school
  • study
  • pay the bills
  • order flowers
  • wash the scout stuff
  • put together a bag for the thrift store
  • dinner: jerk chicken, coconut rice, black beans, fried plantains, cucumber salad.

I should take a minute to set up time to talk to ds's old leader this week.  I sent him notes but I'd like to follow up with some questions.

'morning, all!

today is my last K/1st day at the co-op for this year (Weds will be last day for 2nd grade), so it's class party day, etc. A very busy, very good, very exhausting day, historically.

I've made some tweaks to the party prep, so should run more smoothly than normal. And as exhausting as it will be, it's my favorite day.

Anyway, that's my list -- go do parties, come home, go to bed. Possibly eat dinner between those things, we'll see.

Hi guys, happy Monday!

Sounding like a broken record but ... I didn't do much client work over the weekend, so I have a bunch to send out today.  At least I'll hopefully feel like I accomplished something today!

I didn't get to sleep until like 5am, so hopefully the ~3 hours I did get will carry me through the day.

I did the smart thing and got my "yoga etc." out of the way first thing.  I'm now on a 4-day streak for "yoga etc.," and if I don't fail to walk the dog tonight, it will be a 4-day streak of dog walking + yoga.  Next goal is to get back to TKD class while keeping up the yoga & dog walking.

Done today:

  • Some midnight / early morning housework.
  • Slept maybe 3 hours.
  • Woke up, yay!
  • Yoga etc.
  • Caught up on emails, news, social media, calendar, and electronic school stuff.
  • A little reading.
  • Folded and put away laundry.
  • Ate fruit, took vitamins.
  • Washed dishes etc.
  • Completed maybe an hour's worth of client work.

To do:

  • Keep all my clients happy-ish.
  • At least a couple Q1-2024 accounting reports.
  • Review and send out a lot of tax returns / audit reports.
  • Send out more stuff that auditors have requested for several entities.
  • 2pm client call that I have to prepare for.
  • Ask our CPA about a nonprofit issue.
  • Eat veggies.
  • Kid needs to complete and mail waiver for her speeding ticket.
  • Dog needs to take his monthly flea/tick/worm medicine.
  • Pay bills.
  • Walk the dog.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Xray info came back from the radiologist. Degenerative discs at C4-7. ☹️☹️☹️

I don't know what that means for you.  I  am sorry.   Is there anything they are recommending?

@SKL  I think we tagged teamed sleep. I think I slept until 5 or so this morning.  I can't get up as it stirs my youngest dog and he is loud.  And I also don't look at the clock because that stresses me out.   I am dragging.  I am about to get some caffeine to hopefully make it to tonight.

Dentist apts for a bunch of us today.  No cavities for anyone which is great news because they were overdue apts by a lot of months.  I didn't want to go over flu, cold, and  covid season.

Home from teh parties. DH has dinner in the crockpot. DS did his psychology final - only studied some - got a 93! yay!  (meanwhile, I have no idea if Middle got  his final project turned in or not last night.....).

The parties were good, I am (as predicted) exhausted, putting my flowers in water, opening the bottle of wine that was gifted me, and watching Grey's until....? I will email my families tomorrow.

Right now, just continuing with PT and an extended release nsaid. Not going to be rid of the pain, stiffness, and tingling anytime soon, I expect.

Strong likelihood that I will need surgery at some point.

Oh I am so sorry.  I hope that the PT will help with the pain.

Late getting home from the meeting. Lots of big changes in our troop. Mostly good.

Did PT exercises

Signed up to get an early am subbing notification.

Forgot to buy the cookies Ds is supposed to take to school. Dh can do it tomorrow, maybe?

Winding down. Hope to be asleep soon. Sleeping in Dd’s room bc my movement due to neck/ arm pain keeps Dh awake.
