Shelydon Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I left my wallet at home this morning while my junior and I are visiting colleges. I was able to download restaurant apps, and then just transfer money to the apps with Venmo so we can eat. Going to set up Google Pay now just in case. Thankful for phones and electronic payment today. 1 Quote
Arcadia Posted May 4 Posted May 4 My iPhone has credit card details to use for the app store. So I wasn’t too worried about activating and using Apple Pay if I need to. One time I was lazy to dig out my wallet and just went to Starbucks for a snack because my Starbucks app was already loaded with credits from gift cards. 1 Quote
Indigo Blue Posted May 4 Posted May 4 (edited) Yes! I was helping ds landscape last week. His allergies got so, sooo bad so suddenly. I said I’ll run to CVS and see if I can get a topical nasal spray that works quickly. He said ok just drive my car. We were pushed for time and ds was so miserable. My truck bed was full of tools and shrubs. That’s where I had my purse, credit cards, and license. In my haste, I grabbed his keys and my phone and took off. Got to CVS (five minutes away) and realized I was driving with no license and had no way to pay for allergy medicine! Gah! Then I remembered I could just use my Apple wallet. Yes, it would have been no big deal to go back if needed, but the Apple wallet saved the day. I was more panicked about having driven with no license! Edited May 4 by Indigo Blue 1 Quote
