I am done teaching science to my kids and I have so many things. So many.  I have bought things over the years, some used from friends, some used off Goodwill, some from HST, some from Amazon, etc.  All of it, even with a 50% discount on the face price is still about $300.  What do you recommend I do? Should I try to sell it as a lot (probably for cheaper than $300) or try to sell things individually?  Any BTDT experience?

Following along since I have all that and physics, too. My last dc who took chemistry was able (with lots of prodding) to find everything they needed on the shelf! I don't know anyone in my area who is homeschooling.

I have all my physics too! I already posted that on FB but no takers yet. But I only have about two small shoebox bins for that stuff. For the chemistry I have three large plastic bins plus a big box. LOL.

I end up giving to a homeschooling friend. I would sell as a lot unless you are doing a yard sale style selling. It is very hard to sell (or give away) bit by bit.  My friend most wanted my retort stand because it is tried and tested so she “booked” that for when my kids were done with it.

I gave them to a friend with rising high schoolers.
My stuff had been "used", so it wasn't really sale-able.
(I still use the scale for food!)

Do you have used curriculum sales local to you? I would try to sell it as a set.

About 5 years ago, you had trouble buying lab glassware in Texas. I think that law was repealed but not 100% positive.

There is one, but it is VERY poorly attended.

I think my best bet is going to be the local homeschool forum and/or facebook in hopes that a co-op needs supplies. I feel like most people don't do the level of chemistry we did at home anymore.

That is the situation here too. I think the majority - even the PS kids - just watch labs on video - if that. A great number of vocal moms drone on about how they hate science. Truly encouraging their kids.
