Porridge Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Have any of your DC tried Stanford ULO math or physics classes? If so, how was the quality of instruction? Class organization? overall experience? Quote
SanDiegoMom Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I only know that @Arcadia had one of her DC take a class through them. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head that did -- we considered it but decided against it in favor of more AOPS. Quote

The exams were proctored and we used SJSU's testing services as that was the nearest place for us that offered proctor services for SPCS. 1 Quote
SanDiegoMom Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Just now, Arcadia said: DS19 took two math class and one physics class but that was way back in 2018 I can't believe it's been that long since I've been following yours, Lewelma's and Quark's math journeys to help with our own! And now ours is done. Bittersweet! 3 Quote

"The core assessments are standard paper/pencil exams. For majority of courses, these exams take 3 hours. The exams need to be independently proctored to receive a letter grade. (If a relative proctors the exam, the course will be graded on a credit/no-credit basis.) Students should arrange with their school, local library, testing or tutoring center etc. to obtain an appropriate independent proctor to be registered into University-Level Online’s system." https://ulo.stanford.edu/how-our-courses-function-ulo 1 Quote
