LizzyBee
SAS is a local company whose founder is "into" education. As I understand it, he was nearly single-handedly responsible for starting a private college prep school in our area that has an excellent reputation. A week or so ago, I read a press release stating that the Company will now offer its supplementary online curriculum for grades 8-12 for free. It's available for homeschools as well as institutional schools. http://www.sas.com/govedu/edu/curriculum/index.html
Jen500
Thanks for the link...I'll have to look at it more later when I have time. I'm a SAS fan. :D
mazakaal
I've never heard of SAS. Is this a complete curriculum? It sounds too good to be true that they're making it available for free. What's the catch?

It sounds too good to be true that they're making it available for free. What's the catch? They have a demo on the website. I really don't think there is a catch. Frontier Mom
Thanks, I signed up. I am really trying to cut some curriculum costs down without jeopardizing the level of education. This is great.
dragons in the flower bed
This looks nifty, but I'm wondering what content it teaches. Or does it not teach, but just support teaching?
LizzyBee
This looks nifty, but I'm wondering what content it teaches. Or does it not teach, but just support teaching? It's just a supplement, but it's high quality.
dragons in the flower bed
It's just a supplement, but it's high quality. Will it supplement most of the typical 8-12 sequence? Algebra through calc, earth, biology, physics & chemistry, etc.?
mom2abcd
Sounds great! Thanks for sharing this info. I see you can't have pop-up blockers on the computer when you use this. I'll have dh figure out the system requirements and go from there.
