This country at large does not have materially greater incidence of mental illness in the overall population, or adolescent social alienation, or school bullying, or substance abuse, or BLAH BLAH BLAH than our developed nation peer group. There's No Way to Prevent This, say only nation in the world where This regularly happens. As a nation, we have accepted this, and the prior "tragegy" in Uvalde, and the one before that, and before that, and before that... and Sandy Hook a decade ago in my backyard.... and the next one which could just as easily be in yours, as the price we're willing to pay for Freedom.
