MJN
the end of a cold or bronchitis? My poor dd has coughed till her back and stomach ache. She's taken guafinisin and gotten a lot of mucous out and is on an antibiotic for bronchitis. She says there is a tickle in her throat that makes her cough. She's so tired. Thanks for your ideas! Jumping In Puddles
She may have some drip back that she is not noticing. That happened to me and I was given a nasal spray prescription and that cleared it up. She could try honey... a little spoonful or some warm tea with honey. pbajgrow
Honey! Put it in some decaf tea. They have lots of flavors that kids like, like all the berries or orange flavored. The honey, I believe, also promotes the sinus drainage. It really coats the throat. I drink about 3 cups of tea a day when I am sick. Melinda in VT
What worked for me was lots and lots of water. Every time I felt the need to cough, I took a sip of water instead. Ricolo Honey and Herb throat lozenges helped too. You can take 3 an hour.
coralloyd
Dito the honey. I also put vicks on the bottom of my kids feet. I know it sounds crazy, but it really works.:)

Daisy
If she gets it at the end of every cold, you might want to see a doctor about it. Mine turned out to be mild asthma.
