math teacher
I'm in a lot of pain from bursitis in both hips. I know realistically that the pain from the shot would be less than the pain I've endured up to this point, but that sudden jab has me reluctant to get the shots. How painful are they anyway? I can't get a clear answer on Google.
gardenmom5
the shots weren't bad (as far as I remember) - but the relief was temporary. There were PT positions/exercises I added to my then yoga practice that focused on the hip bursas that helped to actually "cure" it.
Lady Florida.
The shots aren't bad at all. You feel more pressure than pain when it's going in. I've had shots to help kick start healing but @gardenmom5 is right. Shots are useless without exercises. Make sure your doctor either refers you to PT or at least sends you home withexercises to do. And make sure you do them consistently.
stephanier.1765
Agreed, not bad at all. My experience has been some work and I get no relief to working so well that I was pain free for months.
Tap
Not bad here too. Pressure, a bit of pain but over really quick. For me one injection was enough ❤️never came back
math teacher
Ok that sounds doable. I think I'll try to get them set up. I've already been doing some PT I found on YouTube. Thanks, my friends!!
