inashoe
Is there any difference between the previous edition of Apologia Science (i think publish date 2000) and the new edition ?
Sandy in Indy
Which course? In general, material has been added to each newer edition, and I think previous editions were in b/w while the newer ones have color illustrations. I know there's a significant difference between the 1st and 2nd edition of Physics.

Christine
Is there any difference between the previous edition of Apologia Science (i think publish date 2000) and the new edition ? It depends on which course you are asking about. A lot of the updates are "visual", color photos, more graphics, etc. Some of the updates are because the labs weren't always 100% (frequently, kids couldn't replicate the expected results) and those have been replaced. If you are doing this as a co-op course they strongly recommend everyone using the same book. They used to have, on their web-site, a list of the differences (though it wasn't terribly specific). It did help me decide that I didn't need to update either my Gen. Sci or Phys. Sci books. I did buy the 2nd ed. Biology though.
