How many years has your Blendtec or Vitamix blender held up for you?

Mine is nine years and still going strong, with moderate to sometimes heavy use.

I’ve had my Vitamix about ten years and use it  twice a day on average. Never have had a problem with it and it works as well as it did on the day I got it.

I've had my Vitamix so long that I can't even remember what year I got it. At least 15. I love it. One of my best purchases.

I finally had to replace the jar on my Blendtec after 10 years. Works as good as new.

Ten years?  You expect me to remember? I did buy a slightly wider jar that is supposed to do better with smoothies.

My Blendtec is 11ish years old. It goes in spurts of getting used moderately often  or sitting in the cupboard for months at a time.

My first Vitamix is 16 or 17 years old and still going strong. DS took that one to college and uses it daily to make mega-smoothies packed with flax and chia seeds, protein powder, and frozen fruit.  I bought my current one 4.5 years ago and use it at least daily for smoothies, soups, and sauces. I did splurge on the stainless steel container because hard seeds like flax & chia scratch up the plastic container and this sits on my counter 24/7 so the stainless one looks nicer and will last forever. (Ds still has the original 16-18 yr old container and doesn't care that it's scratched up.)

FOUR. It died just before the pandemic so dealing with it fell to the bottom of my to do list. Now it’s judging me from a shelf. I need to get it prepared but I’m hesitant to sink more cash into a broken blender. I loved it when it worked.

Love all the good reviews. @KungFuPanda that's rough, guess it was something not still covered on warranty.

Does anyone have tips on accessories for cheaper. They are crazy expensive.

My Vitamix is 10 years old, used almost daily, including to make nut butters, with no issues.  It was a refurbished one to begin with so I was expecting the worst but so far, so good.

My Vitamin is 20 years+ and working fine. I use it once or twice per day.

My first vitamix had something wrong with it as all it did pulverize anything it touch.  They were not very helpful when it started going wonky but said I could buy another…

My neighbor upgraded hers to a blendtec and gave me her old vitamix one as a thank you for helping her.  That one is great, works fantastic and is a discontinued model.

My Blendtec is twelve years old, and on its third jar. It is used daily.

Refurbished Vitamix going on 7 years. Had to replace the container a few years ago because the gear on the bottom had gotten all gummed up for some reason. It was still under warranty and Vitamix was awesome to work with. Love my Vitamix! Use it at least once a day.

Blend Tec - 8 year warranty. They’ve replaced it once and repaired it once. It works great.

Vitamix is maybe 10 years old. I once had the bottom come off when it was blending, and the smoothie poured into the motor compartment. I took it apart and cleaned it, but it has never quite been the same. It still blends great but has a weird motor surge every once in a while.
