There will be a "silent" update next week and maybe that will take care of the issue. I did get a response from the vendor telling me how to set the notifications so that emails could be received, but IIRC correctly, you already *have* them set correctly . I am not sure when that update was, but nothing has happened yet. I did add the addresses to my outlook contacts a long time ago. I would think I am not the only one using Outlook either. It's weird. The Tech Support team suggested clicking *both* these boxes (not just the second one).
