workingmom
We finished the Story of the World Series last couple years and now in 8th grade. But dd didn't really remember too in-depth the history. So wanting to use this year to review History and Geography. Any suggestions? EKS
K12's Human Odyssey series is excellent. It's three volumes, but you could easily do it in a year. In fact, I'm pretty sure I did exactly that when my older son was in 7th grade.
workingmom
Thanks Kai for the Rec. Anyone have recs for online synchronous classes. DD enjoys more interaction.
Clemsondana
No suggestions for classes, but the Critical Thinking Company's World History Detective is a workbook that does a surprisingly good job. We use it over 3 years along with other resources, so that we do the ancient history pages the year that we do ancient history, etc. But, if you wanted to do a review all in one year it might be a good fit.

A step up from SOTW, inexpensive hardbacks on Amazon, visually appealing.

workingmom
ok so interestingly K12 (now Stride) does offer a teacher led world history using the Human Odyssey series. Just finding out how the timings work? I don't see the class timings online, so hesitant to sign up if it doesn't work with her other class timings.
