A home for their hearts
I forgot to add this to my other thread so I'll just put it here. I'm looking for something to teach art as well. Not just appreciation but how to draw, paint, ect. My dd9 is really crafty and she has been asking for months to do art for school. I don't know even where to start! I'm a terrible drawer, I am not artistic at all. Is there anything out there that isn't too expensive? TIA
HCATeach
She would like Draw Write Now! My daughter likes this book. (She's also taking an art class, which she loves.)
jail warden
I love them! They are very age appropriate and my 3rd grader is learning shading techniques and will be learning a bit more drawing later. The drawing started about the end of 2nd grade, before that it's more cut and paste and color and minor drawing. They are very cheap. Check it out here. Laura Corin
She might like Draw Squad. Calvin and I use it together (I couldn't draw at the beginning either) and we enjoy it. Laura
