Last night I dreamt that I dropped a chocolate cookie decorated to look like latte art behind my head of my bed.

Dream me was very worried my dog would find it and get sick.

So worried in fact that in the morning the head of my bed was pulled away from the wall.  I must have actually gotten up and looked.

Am I the only one who does this?

Last week it took me three hours to stop feeling angry at DH for something he did in a dream that he would never do in real life.  My waking self immediately dismissed it as ridiculous and forgot what he even did but my emotions wouldn't stop the slow brewing anger for a while.  I felt ridiculous.

dh routinely apologizes for things he did in my dreams.

DH has been known to take me out to dinner to apologize for something he did. In my dream. That I don’t even remember but I know I’m mad.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Why do we dream that we’re mad at our dh? I do that routinely. Last night Dh and I each had dreams that involved me being mad at him.  It’s so weird!
B&H, I’ve never awakened from a dream and thought it was real enough to act on it, like looking for a dropped cookie.  You must have very vivid dreams!

I think I was asleep.  I didn’t make latte cookies yesterday I just watched people make on YouTube so if I had woken up I would have realized it was impossible.

I don't know if dh just never dreams about being mad at me, or if he's made a strategic decision to not mention it.

It’s my dh’s opinion that he probably does but wakes up, thinks “huh, that was weird” and goes on with his day 😆

DH says that's a possibility, but he never remembers that he dreamed he was angry with me.

I have had many dream-anger events that spilled into RL. When I woke up, I felt angry for hours, even though it was a dream!

In one dream I remember, dream dh announced that he was going on a week-long backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon…with his buddies. And dream-me was like, “ALL the times we talked about taking that trip together and now you are finally doing it but cutting me out?!”

I'm jealous your DH will even dream plan it.  Mine literally took his first steps as a baby in the grand canyon and has no interest in hiking it.

My heart rate was up and I was a mess for a couple of hours after suddenly waking from a deep sleep on the couch. I have no idea what woke me or what I was dreaming.

Mine has dreams where I have to apologize in real life too. I also make him apologize for making me dream angry!

I've had dreams and then woke up embarrassed or ashamed of what I dreamed I'd done.  Mostly when I was a minor though.

Now I sometimes find myself amused at what my brain does when I sleep, but I generally lose the emotion part as soon as I wake.

I wish I had residual anger from my dreams! It’s always residual anxiety! Night before last I dreamed that Zelenskyy died. It took a few hours of me avoiding all news before dh cleared it up for me. 😭😂 It seemed so REAL.

My brain goes into overdrive at night.  Apparently I have full conversations that dh can hear, but I wake up with so many more thoughts than I go to sleep with.  And they're usually something biologically related, and that's a field I have no interest in during a lucid state.  It's things like:

-designing a robotic appendage that taps into the electric pulses of nerves in order to give more lifelike movement to the prosthetic arm or leg.

-prosthetic "shells" with a core made of gel muscular roping, tendons, etc. attached to a titanium (or other material) skeletal system.  The gel is infused with stem cells and after the prosthetic is attached to the person in a permanent manner, the core is slowly replaced by bio material as the body recreates the cells necessary.

-treating autism as sensory overload with things like CBD oil.

That one was last night.  I did find a small study this morning from Turkey that shows someone else had the same idea, but now I'm more curious.

Whoa.  Your dh needs to be standing by with a patent filing form...

Over the years, I’ve had repeated wake up thinking I’m pregnant (or have another baby) dreams.  Almost always unwelcome, lol.

My most recent morning fog was after a super intense, realistic dream that we went through whole CPS process again and had two more kids in our house. Even after realizing that wasn’t true, I was still trying to sort out whether any of the conversations I had had in the dream happened, as if they had triggered other parts of the dream.  I did check my phone for recent calls just in case.
