I bought frozen breaded uncooked chicken strips.  I cooked them.  There were some left over that I did not refrigerate for about 3 hours.  Now, a day later, can I take them out of the fridge and reheat them or should I throw them?

Nine times out of ten, I think that if you're asking this question, then YOU should toss the food in question. (The tenth time has to do with something unopened and shelf-stable, in which case my answer is "meh, probably not".)

Not because I would toss the food in question, but because if you eat something like this while wondering that you shouldn't, you'll give yourself a stomachache by worrying, and probably a headache too, and then you'll be up all night trying to figure out if it's paranoia or food poisoning.

I'd eat them, but it’s winter and cool in my house. If it’s hot and humid where you are I wouldn’t want to take the risk. I’m pretty paranoid about chicken.

This is my advice, too.

I'd eat them, as long as they haven't been sitting in a hot area or in the sun for that long.  But I've made chicken sandwiches in the morning to be eaten at lunch and have never gotten sick from them.
