Indigo Blue Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Saw a sign today that someone obviously had printed up. It was stuck in the ground right at the end of their driveway near the road. It was red on white background. It simply said: FEDEX 5804 with a large arrow pointing up their driveway toward their house. Maybe their house is easy to miss. I dunno. I couldn’t help wondering that maybe they had found it necessary to do this to avoid yet another package 📦 being delivered to the wrong house. 🤣 Editing: It’s funny because, you know, they are known for not getting deliveries to the right place…..or maybe it’s not funny and I’m just easily amused and …now I’m rambling. Katy Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I think it’s funny because it’s true. FedEx is the worst. 1 Quote
Tenaj Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Hilarious. Fedex is the only service that always delivers our packages to the house next door despite both houses being clearly marked with the address! I laughed today when I was out for my daily walk. A FedEx truck was parked in the driveway of the house two doors away from us and as I walked by the delivery guy was carrying a package off the porch of that house and carrying it to the house next door 🤣🤣 Edited March 17, 2022 by Tenaj 1 1 Quote
KatieJ Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I would love to do that. We moved and bought a newly built house in a newer subdivision. There are houses her up to 5 years old, so the road is not “new”. Post office, and UPS can find our house, no problem. Fed Ex is almost always a fight to get a package here…One time they printed a new label and sent the package to our old address, 700 miles away! My phone number is on the label…just call me! Quote
itsheresomewhere Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Good old fedex. They can’t find my house some days, take packages on a 25 state tour ( if the package was going east coast state to east coast state why did it need to see the west coast states), drops packages off at my house that are not even close to my house. I stopped the driver one day mid walk away from my door to say this is not my package. Her response peeved me- You get stuff so you can take it to the right house. No lady that is your job. DH called me one day when I was out asking what I ordered as it was tall, heavy and multiple boxes. Nothing. Come to find out they delivered a work out station to my house instead of to the house a street over. DH ended up loading it up in his truck as it was a nasty weather day. Hilariously, that person wasn’t really nice and now has a rule at my house if we ever get stuff for them it can sit out until fedex returns to pick it up. 1 Quote

You helped them and they weren't nice afterwards? That doesn't make any sense. Bless their hearts! Quote

It was hilarious afterwards. She kept acting confused and couldn’t figure out why DH was ringing the bell, asking her to help him unload, and got peeved he wouldn’t bring it in. DH unload it near her door and left. For my area, she fit the attitude of you are beneath me. We still see her running in the area. Funny I had no idea I interacted with her extremely nice sister almost daily then. 1 Quote
wintermom Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Some companies are less than the best. I felt like making a sign for Bloomex: "Please do not leave flowers outside on the step to freeze and die. Phone ahead and ensure someone is home, like every other flower delivery company does." My mom got two deliveries of flowers that froze and died after her husband died. 😔 2 Quote
athena1277 Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 We don’t have problems with fedex or ups. It the post office that keeps messing up. We get packages for a house a mile away. Same house number, but different street name. The streets start with the same letter, but are otherwise different, including the fact that theirs is a 2 word name and ours is one. I have taken so many packages to them, we are nearly friends. Quote
