DawnM
Our large deep freezer in the garage died yesterday. We were frantically trying to make freezer space in the inside freezer and dad's small freezer. Some things didn't make it as we just didn't have room, but most of it we were able to keep. Good news......I can now take the Costco salmon off the list.....apparently I have almost 3 full bags of it that were buried deep in the freezer! 🤣 Never a dull moment around here. 3

Melissa in Australia
so glad you noticed before things went off. When I was a child mums deep freezer died. She didn't notice until a week later when everything was off. Dad dug a pit in the backyard and buried it all. 6 months later he had a brainwav e about building a sunken BBQ area. He got all us kids out there with shovels to help him dig it. We hit the buried rotting food, because aparently he never took the plastic off anything when he buried it. Ah, the memories 1

DawnM
DH fiddled with it. He is sure it is the compressor. But on Thursday he finally pronounced it dead. It won't even come on at all anymore. Now in the market for a new deep freeze. Hopefully they aren't on backorder like they were at the start of Covid.
