Pantyhose?

I have an upcoming event for which I want to wear pantyhose. I haven't worn them in at least 10 years, maybe more. I have spidery veins on my calves that I want to hide and will be in a situation where using leg makeup will be impractical. Where does one even buy pantyhose anymore? Any brand/type recommendations? I do want nude toe since I'll be wearing dress sandals.

Last time I needed hose I got them at Target.

I like No Nonsense and buy them on Amazon. I find that L'eggs nude is too dark for me. (Although you live in Florida, so it might not be for you...) 🙂

I got some from Snag tights. I like their tights and their pantyhose are nice but a bit heavy to wear if it is hot outside. But they are very good at covering those veins. Pricey for a one time use though. You can get some hose at Target or Dillards.

I like Leggs although I wear them quite rarely.  They have extended sizes at their outlet stores, which are Leggs Hanes Bali ones.  I hate control tops, and the plain topped ones don’t come in bare toes so I just fold the toe reinforcement under my feet and that works fine.  

I’ve heard good things about Snag tights but have not tried them yet.

Last fall, I wanted some pantyhose to wear to a funeral and bought them at Walmart. There are not near as many choices as I remember from the 1990’s, but I don’t think I have worn pantyhose since then.
