praisefor3
I thought choosing books was easy til I got to this one. She didn't grow up on good books as she was in public school til 9th grade. But she does love to read. Christian based/values would be preferred. I'm looking for books she would enjoy receiving as a gift. If you have any suggestions I'd reallly appreciate it!:001_smile:
mellifera
What sort of books does she like? Historical fiction, romance, mystery?
Mrs. Readsalot
I didn't discover Jane until a few years ago. I wish I had read her when I was 17. So if she hasn't read any Austen I would suggest starting with Pride and Prejudice. Karen ( who is planning to reread Pride and Prejudice for the 4th time)
praisefor3
Historical fiction and romance would definitely be on the list. Probably not mystery.
charlotteb
I would recommend the Beverly Lewis books based on the Amish people. She has several different series; my favorite is "Abram's Daughters".
