MamaSprout Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) So I actually have two graduates this year. DS29 has gone back and finished his BS under his own effort and mostly his own funding. Because it will be a within a couple weeks of dd's graduation, I want to include him in the party (she does too). I'm trying to debate how to work/ create/ convey the invites for this (sort of) 2-1 event. The invite list almost totally overlaps, but not completely. We have a local homeschool graduation ceremony for dd that's two weeks earlier, so I'm kind of considering doing separate invites for the ceremony and the party. If I do that, I want them coordinated somehow, which I think makes most photo cards awkward. I've never used a cricut, but I have access to a couple (one is a DIL, who I know would be helpful if I went that route). Thoughts? Has anyone seen a set up like this? TIA UPDATE: DS29 totally nixed this, lol. He said, "Buy me a steak." Okay, but we're still proud of him. Edited February 13, 2022 by MamaSprout 2 Quote
theelfqueen Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) I'd phrase it "Join Us in Celebrating Then two separated sections DD's High School graduation DS's College graduation At... place, time, details" Or I'd do separate cards for each and put one or both in each envelope depending on relationship to kid. And desire to have separate keepsakes. Edited February 3, 2022 by theelfqueen 2 Quote
BusyMom5 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 What about splitting the card in half- one kid MamaSprout Homeschool Academy High School Graduate Class of 2022 Other side University of State Degree Graduate Class of 2022 Then on the back say you have so much to celebrate, and give party details. 1 Quote

No suggestions, just celebrating along with you as our 29yo DS#1 just finished his BS in Mech Eng. in December, also under his own efforts. 😄 3 Quote
