gardenmom5 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Dh is really excited about a place outside Whitefish - would we regret it? Is there a better place for Glacier? Quote
Elizabeth86 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 IDK, I’m just jealous, that’s all. 😂I want to visit there so badly. 2 Quote
LifeLovePassion Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 We do camping and backpacking so our lodging was rustic (KOA on the east side, 2 nights at Granite Park Chalet, Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, a motel on the west side-I'd have to check the name on this one and back to the KOA for 1 night). Be aware that the main road that runs through the park is some sort of ticketed entry system now. Going to the Sun Road. (We went in 2019 before this happened). It is such a pretty park! Quote

Yes, this is a separate process. Due to the spike in visitor numbers. https://www.nps.gov/glac/learn/news/glacier-national-park-announces-plans-for-2022-ticket-system.htm https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm 1 Quote
