I went to bed 4 hrs ago. No clue why I am not asleep. I often wake around 3 and have trouble going back to sleep, but getting to sleep is never an issue. Have to get up in 5 hours. Ugh!

I’m still up, but my husband just got home from work. We lost power for a few hours tonight due to a traffic accident, so I’m going to finish watching my movie that got interrupted before heading to bed.

@ScoutTNI hope you can get some good uninterrupted sleep soon.

My teens and I are awake as usual. I’m playing pocket frogs on my iPhone and DS17 is laughing about the fact that I have been playing that game since he was 4 years old.

It was about 1:30 am here when I posted. Eventually fell asleep about 3:30. Never down deep. So weird. I was drowsy and relaxed, just not asleep.

I am pretty good about keeping evening routines consistent and the only exception last night was that I had one square of a new kind of Lily’s chocolate bar. Will be reading that label carefully later today and enjoying that particular treat as an afternoon snack in future. I have a square or two of a Lily’s bar a couple times a week in the evenings and it has never been a problem before.

Drinking coffee now; off to church shortly. Have a good day!

I’ve always been pretty sensitive to caffeine and really only get it through food, as I don’t drink coffee, regular tea, or soda. But I’ve definitely discovered too late several times that some sweet item had more than I anticipated and an evening snack resulted in insomnia.

I woke up at 3am to watch the Nadal-Medvedev final for the Australian Open. I anticipated being able to go back to bed around 5:30 or so. It was a 5+ hour match so I guess I'm up for the day.

That is devotion to a sport!
