I have a new big dark brown leather sectional.  My existing tables are brown.  Recliner is brown.  All other furniture brown. I love this rug.  
 

I am thinking of going with some off white tables…..I hate to give up my square coffee table with hinged storage underneath the top…but I need something lighter in color and form.  Has anyone done white tables with dark brown leather?

Oh and also in an adjoining open dining area I have an indigo blue accent wall. I th8nk with this rug I can add several colors of throw pillows including indigo blue to this very dark furniture that will tie it all together.

I would get pillows and other accents out of the colors on the rug.  No need to replace the table.

Also, the room is dark.  Only one window…..brick fireplace from floor to ceiling…..so I want some curtains that will be lighter in color while still bringing in some of the indigo and other colors.

Well, the table is pretty old…..but yes, I guess I should get the rug and pillows first and see how I feel.
