We already knew it, but maybe this will provide a bit of closure to Gabby’s family. I hope he was remorseful.

Hope it brings some peace to her family. At least they don’t have to sit through a trial and spend years knowing he’s alive while their daughter isn’t. I know that sounds awful, but that’s how I’d feel…relieved that it’s the door to closure.

I hope this brings some peace to those who loved her.

My college roomie and often tentmate, friend of DH, and auntie to my kids was killed in a murder-suicide in 2019. They lived a similar, traveling nomadic lifestyle. I am always selfishly relieved that he is gone, and we know what happened—it gives some closure. For him to deny what he had done, a trial … it would have been unbearable! 

I hope that this gives a sense of closure to her family, so they can grieve.

I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. 😞 Your feelings about him being gone are perfectly understandable!
