Good morning!

Dh came home not feeling well, but he doesn't have any fever. His voice sounds hoarse and is a bit sore. He says he has sinus pressure, so I am hoping it is just his sinuses. I'm still being cautious. I moved into the guest bedroom and bath for the time being, and I'm masking around him. We don't have any decongestants in the house, so I'm going to go get some.

  • devotion/scripture
  • medicine
  • coffee
  • meals
  • go get medicine and a flashlight (I can't find our big one since the move)
  • laundry
  • pay bills/update checking
  • charge all our devices tonight
  • download some episodes of things we could watch if we lose power tomorrow
  • we have no alternative source of heat, so get out extra quilts

Good morning, all!   Amy, hope your dh is feeling better.  BlsdMama, what a perfect day!

Today I really resent being diabetic.   I want pancakes.  Real pancakes with lots of butter and syrup!  Sigh...

To do today:

  • car in for service
  • coffee
  • pack up miscellaneous Christmas stuff, put away
  • work on office/workspace
  • banking, pay bills, update savings challenge
  • Target run for coffee, essentials
  • cozy up with a book and more coffee
  • leftovers for dinner, salad

Have a great day!

Weekend house clean up...clean humidifier, check pressure tank

Pick up prescriptions/swing into the dollar store. This will be after lunch because there are a lot of accidents this morning.

Get kids boosters

Make anti anxiety pouches for backpacks. My plan is for some mints, a fidget, a calming oil roller, M&Ms, ibuprofen. Hopefully just enough to distract when school gets overwhelming.

Goofing off doing random small things instead of sitting down at my laptop to work.

~ Cleaned the picture window and front storm door.

~ Washed Dd’s sheets

~ Put a load of bathroom rugs in the wash

~ Made decaf bc I just want a hot drink to sip on

~ Made the bed

~ Remade my running grocery/house stuff lists

Contemplating cleaning a bathroom. Or listening to a podcast that I have fallen to sleep listening to three times. Or actually doing my deskwork. Or reading.

Dh has rested all day on the couch watching TV, youtube videos, and Amazon Prime.

I went to the store and got what we needed.

I walked 30 minutes in the house.

I did some grading and emailing. I did the lesson plans for my private full-time student. I still need to work on the fractions lesson plan.

I watched the final episode of The Village. I loved the series! (only 12 episodes on Amazon Prime for those who might be interested)

I did a load of laundry, and it's almost done in the dryer.

I ate lunch and snacked, but I never made coffee. I'll do that soon and have my quiet time for devotion and scripture writing.

Made chili.
Moved the laundry, folded some.
Cleaned a bathroom.
Took out trash and compost.
Called mom

Sitting down now to do some electronic chores: YNAB and logging tutoring sessions. ✔️

Cleaned the kitchen

Showered, washed my hair

About to do my laundry when dd is done w/ her laundry 😔 why she always does her laundry when I'm about to do mine, I don't know. I'm really tired of her 🙄

The boys bought dinner out whatever

I think I'm just in a foul mood, even the cat is annoying me 😭

Dh is feeling much better.

I should get a shower and wash my hair in case we lose power overnight (high winds expected after midnight).

All our devices are charging.

A 2nd load of laundry is in the dryer.

I never made my coffee nor did my devotion. Since I drink decaf, maybe I'll do that later. I'm full from dinner now.

Made up with my daughter. 😍 I'm trying to understand this new Big girl I have....boys are so much easier!

Luckily her older and younger brothers adore her! Like they are her slaves 😂😭 it's amazing to see

Howdie, very very late!

I just had to check in because I got a lot done on Saturday.

Well, first, I slept in and was really lazy until about 6pm.  I wasn't feeling very good.  But then most of the people left the house, and I went down to get coffee and ended up cleaning and doing laundry for the next six hours.  And then I finally got serious about goal setting for 2022.  I put a few hours in, and I think I have a plan.  There are way too many items, but they roll up into goals and hopefully make them attainable.  I guess we'll see!
