imeverywoman
Oh. My. Goodness. I can't wait. I plan to take a bag, only the size of a purse and fit nothing but a toothbrush, contact lenses, under-niceties :001_tt1: and, well, that's about it! Oh! And a book. But do tell...do those bracelet things work for motion sickness? I don't want to be green the whole time I'm there. Thanks!
Jennifer3141
Have a good time! We've done two cruises. One was on a ship so big that we couldn't feel it move. Another was much more private and smaller and some people did have a hard time on it. I take crystallized ginger for my air nausea. :) Jen

Remudamom
How fun is that? Are you going to shop for clothes while you're cruising or just run around in your undies? Ackkk, pack a bathing suit!
imeverywoman
I plan on spending a LOT of time "lounging"...
beansprouts
Sweet!! Did you just find out about it today? He made arrangements for the kids and everything? Methinks you have a keeper ;)
newbie
Where are you going, I dont know about writstbands but I bought a watch that gives you a little shock and that works really good. Oh yeah, congrats on the cruise.
Jenn in Mo
WOW!!!!!!!!! What a GUY!!!!!!! I don't know about bands, but if you have a chance to pick up some Hyland's Motion Sickness tablets, they work wonderfully! No side-effects. Homeopathic and safe. But I think you'd have to find them at a health food store. Is it sad that the thing I'm looking forward to the most (in my "someday" cruise) is the food? I've heard so many stories about the incredible food on cruises. I stop and try on formal gowns every now and then....practicing for that Captain's Dinner. I am so excited for you! What an awesome surprise!
missplacedalaskan
WOW! That is a wonderful surprise! Did Dh take care of arrangements for the Dc too? What a guy! joannqn
Cool! I get every kind of motion sickness there is and the only thing that has worked for me is ginger capsules.
Stacia
Awesome! Have a great time. Dramamine works well & they have a non-drowsy version too. But, if you don't get anything before you leave, cruise ships tend to have plenty of packs of dramamine type meds around for the taking.... Barb_
I admit I'm hyperventilating just thinking about leaving for a surprise cruise this time of year. I would have a hard time just taking off without at least a couple of weeks to process and plan. But I'm a weensie bit jealous anyway :D Have a wonderful time.
