Terabith Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) So I haven't gone over to take pictures yet. But it's like a bunch of tall grasses in an oval in the yard, surrounded by a toy fence, with little Valentine's type cards saying Merry Christmas. It went up today. I'm confused. TravelingChris Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Or maybe he really is Putin's brother because the Orthodox Christians just celebrated Christmas 4 days ago. 5 Quote

athena1277 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 We are going to need those pictures before they realize that Christmas is over. 5 Quote

Maybe he was under the weather/quarantining and didn't even want to go outside, so now is his first chance to decorate. Or maybe it's just weird. But, either way, my day could use the pick-me-up provided by the monolith. 1 Quote
Moonhawk Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Maybe he's tired of having to change the decorations with every holiday and so has decided for a scattershot approach, and now he's covered a few bases all the way through next Christmas! 1 2 Quote
Ausmumof3 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Maybe he’s just trying to see if he can get you to take a photo again 😂 1 Quote
Drama Llama Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Maybe the HOA pissed him off. I knew someone who lived in a townhouse with an HOA that had strict rules that you could only have holiday decorations up for one month before or after a holiday. They put up a Christmas wreath on the day after Thanksgiving one year and got a warning note because it was November 23rd or something. So, they put up picture of a Jack O'Lantern instead. Maybe he briefly had some Valentine's decorations up and someone called him on it. 1 Quote

They’d be more worried about the other yards with abandoned cars on them. No HOA here. Quote
Tap Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 He has to be messing with you! He is probably on a message board talking about his crazy neighbor, who thinks her cat is the former president. To add to her bazaar behavior, she takes her cat on walks and leaves a trail of sequins wherever she goes. She thinks she is being sneaky but he catches her taking pictures of him and his yard. 1 18 Quote

Terabith Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 My biggest question is how did the man get an oval shaped miniature hay field to grow up on his lawn overnight! 3 1 Quote
