JumpyTheFrog Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I've been taking Homeschool Spanish Academy classes for two years. I have improved immensely in this time, and I'm currently in adult level 3A. I have booked my favorite teacher (Adela Mendia) through mid-July, but she appears to be booked up from then on, including all of next year! I have another teacher that I've used and is fine (Mafer Diaz), but I don't know if she'll be as good a fit for DS15 who currently has the same teacher as me. Does anyone have any teachers they recommend? DS still needs a teacher who can explain things in English, so my plan is to read through the teacher biographies and stick to teachers with C1 English skills who have several years of teaching experience. That's how I picked these teachers to begin with. (Our few experiences with randomly assigned teachers with lower English skills didn't go well.) Quote
desertflower Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I really like Kathia Arreola. All three of my kids use her. they have been learning from Homeschool Spanish Academy for close to a year. Quote
Dmmetler Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 L really liked Zaida Azurdia. However, L had done college Spanish before moving to HSA to finish out high school and build communications skills, so I can’t speak to her English skills. Quote
