Teaching3bears Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 I had a little red candle in a little glass cup. When it was about 2/3 burned I had trouble getting a match down into the cup. I put another candle of the same size on top. It is a different shade of red. What will happen when it burns up? Will the flame just go to the first wick? I have a pink candle I might put on top of it to make the colors interesting. Quote
LifeLovePassion Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 I'm not sure, but I do know you can light a piece of dry spaghetti and use it to reach in further to light a short candle in a tall holder. 1 Quote
Dianthus Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Usually, the wick has a metal weight on the bottom to keep it level when the candle is poured. I doubt it will light the lower candle. It will probably also drown the lower candle in wax. When the candle is low in the jar, I light a toothpick or kabob skewer and tip the jar on its side, then light with the stick. 1 Quote
