Never have I ever

I don't do the family pajamas either, LOL.  My kids definitely wouldn't have it!

Never have I ever ...

... gone a day without spilling coffee [at least since I was old enough to bring Mom her coffee].

... given birth, breastfed, or spent a night in a hospital.

... cooked a dish for a holiday dinner.

Never have I ever taught high school students.

Last summer I was stuck teaching K-5, so I can now say I have officially taught K-12 and I taught community college for almost 2 years early in my career (ESL classes.)

Never have I ever taken my kids to sit on the lap of a mall Santa, although on two occasions, a Santa turned up at an event and the kid at the event had a picture with Santa.
Never have I ever enrolled my kids in Vacation Bible School. I grew up with a mom who was head of the children’s programs and I remember how the goal was to get all the poor little “unchurched” children to come and scare the hell out of them…literally.
Never have I ever been to Hawaii, though I would like to.
Never have I ever managed to get up on waterskis. So I quit trying.
Never have I ever watched a horror film in theater.
I have never mown grass, either.

Never gotten the p.j. thing. We did manage red shirts for the grown ups, and Christmas Dragon p.j.'s for the grandsons.

Never took my kids to sit on Santa's lap. Not a big fan of forcing kids to do something rather intimate like that with a total stranger. Never took them as babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to Christmas Eve services because I preferred them to have a relaxing evening and off to bed early. So I played many a service while Mark was home with the kids.

Never changed a tire. Never been to a casino. Never been drunk. Never touched a snake. Never used a table saw. Never driven more than 750 miles alone.

And my "never have had a Christmas Eve that I was not performing music" record was broken just last night. I began playing piano, harpsichord, or organ (and often vocal performance as well" on Christmas Eves at the age of 13. This was a 40 year run just busted!! It was NICE. I think I am going to get my first Easter off in 40 years in 2022 as well.

Never have I ever eaten sushi.

But I really want to, just can't past the raw part.

Most of it's not raw. Go to a sushi restaurant (preferably a conveyor belt restaurant) and the menu should tell you. You could also look at the menu online first and go with a game plan. I probably eat 15 types of sushi and tuna is the only raw fish I've ever had.

Goodness, Baseballandhockey, what do you want to drink instead? I guess we can allow it just this once 😄

Can I get a ChickFilA half unsweet tea half diet lemonade with as much extra nugget ice as possible?  Is that too picky?  I'm also really happy with some nice iced water.

I am always hot, and so any hot beverage does not appeal to me.

ETA:  Never have I ever reflected on how weird my dislike of hot drinks is, when my favorite food is soup.  Until now.

I have no explanation.
