The two tech items that get the most use in our house are the PC and the iPad.  We had a second PC - an All in One that I want to replace.
What I like about the PC - it's immobile.  Tell a kiddo to go do school, set them up in a specific area.  What I hate - the camera is separate and that was solved with the AIO which I loved.  I can just replace the AIO.

Or, I could go with an AIO.  The perk here is that we have four teens in the house.  Two have their own laptops for college courses.  The other two do some online work but are distractible and need accountability - the perk is that I either have a committed quiet space for an AIO or they can work at the table with a 2in1 and have accountability.

I don't have a need for CDs anymore.  I use the iPad or the PC.  We have a Chromebook that I don't like (Dell) but I do have a table for my wheelchair and I wonder if I would use a 2 in 1 a lot more? But there are more "oops" with tablets, laptops, etc.  We drop the iPad constantly but it has a great case on it.  We've busted two laptops - one got stepped on when a kiddo was near a fireplace doing school and a little tripped and fell, the other was dropped.  I like touchscreen... but enough to pay a lot more?

What should I consider?
