staceyobu Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 We were originally planning on heading to Cancun in January to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I’m a little reluctant to travel internationally when my phone is popping up with alerts like, “covid blizzard is incoming.” I’m considering looking at staying domestic just so we know we could get home no matter what happens. Any recommendations on a gulf or Florida beach? I would like somewhere warm enough to lay outside and read a book on the beach for hours everyday. I don’t care about it being warm enough to swim. So, scenic book reading location?? Quote
Starr Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Bumping this up for some great ideas. It sounds lovely. Quote
2squared Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 We went to Puerto Rico last summer, but we took our kids. Not the most beautiful Caribbean beaches, but a completely fantastic vacation. Puerto Rico had so much to offer - beaches, snorkeling, rain forest, old San Juan, international flare while being domestic, etc. Quote
Mrs Tiggywinkle Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Anna Maria Island in Florida is my favorite place in the world. It has some of the prettiest beaches anywhere. 1 Quote
